About Me
Who am I? I am a Muslim with an American mother and Palestinian father. I was born in Amman, Jordan and raised in both the USA and Jordan and I now live in the San Francisco Bay Area. Last year I graduated from SJSU with a BA in History. I then got my first teaching job at a Muslim school as the homeroom teacher of the combined 4th and 5th grade, or as my kids like to call themselves, the 45ers. As I begin to wrap up my first year I decided to share my experiences as a new teacher, and my ideas for the future.
